Dr. Michael J. Endl was recently featured in a Niagara Frontier Publications article, A true vision: Couple has cataract surgeries together on Valentine’s Day.
This article highlights Dr. Endl performing cataract surgery on a married couple of 63 years on Valentine’s Day. Sam, 87, and Diane, 83, of Lockport were referred to Dr. Michael J. Endl, partner at Fichte, Endl & Elmer Eyecare and medical director of the surgery center, who performed both of their surgeries at the Ambulatory Surgery Center of Niagara in the Town of Niagara. Diane was hesitant to have the surgery done, but with her husband of 63 years by her side on Valentine’s Day, she found the courage.
