As of April 1, 2025, we have updated our policy on how long a patient needs to leave their soft contact lenses out BEFORE they come in for their LASIK evaluation. It is now 3 days, and previously, it was 1 week. We feel this will be a welcome change to the patients as leaving them out for an entire week is a hardship for some people. This change is 100% backed by recent research published in Cataract & Refractive Surgery Today magazine.
